BAY Alerts Effective Friday January 27 @ 9:00 am, the southbound lanes of Truman Parkway over the Independence Bridge will re open to vehicular traffic. Construction work will now shift to northbound lanes closing the northbound traffic lanes. The lane closures are necessary as construction crews continue hydro-demolition work of the bascule lift spans repairing areas of deteriorated concrete. This work is expected to be completed within 2-3 weeks (weather permitting). The detour route for the lane closures will include Marquette Avenue, Walnut Street and Woodside Avenue.
